Photography has lived in my heart for as long as I can remember, and as my passion grew, I found myself especially drawn to newborn photography. There was something extraordinary about those first days of life - the quiet, the tenderness, and the profound love surrounding a new family. Long before I became a mother myself, those tiny hands, peaceful expressions, and fleeting moments left a lasting impression on me.

Becoming a mother transformed the way I see families, childhood, and the beauty hidden in everyday moments. It taught me that the smallest details often become the memories we treasure most.

While welcoming a new life into the world remains incredibly special to me, I have found my greatest joy in documenting families as they truly are - connected, relaxed, imperfect, and deeply loved.

Today, Lille Ljus represents more than beautiful light in photography. It reflects the quiet light every child carries, the warmth shared between families, and the calm, timeless simplicity that inspires my work.

My sessions are intentionally gentle and unhurried. I don’t believe the most meaningful photographs are created through perfect poses. They are found in the in-between moments - a child’s hand reaching for yours, a quiet embrace, genuine laughter, or the peaceful stillness of simply being together.

It is an incredible privilege to preserve them for you, creating photographs that will feel just as meaningful decades from now as they do today.
