Planning Your Newborn Session

You’re expecting… are you starting to feel the excitement? :)

After you fill out the form, I will get back to you within 24 hours. From there, we will gently go over all the details together, talk about your wishes, and plan a session that feels natural and meaningful to you. Once everything feels right, we will confirm your reservation and begin preparing for your special day.

The best time for a newborn session is within the first two weeks of your baby’s life. During this short and beautiful window, babies are naturally sleepier and more relaxed, allowing for those soft, peaceful moments we all love.
However, I always recommend reaching out during the last weeks of your pregnancy. This gives us time to get to know each other and build a sense of comfort and trust before the session. When we feel more connected, everything flows more easily — for you, for me, and most importantly, for your baby. It also allows me to better understand your needs and create something truly personal for your family.

As this is an in-home session, I will need approximately 20 minutes before we begin photographing to set up the lighting, stands, and other equipment. This allows me to prepare the space carefully and make sure everything is safe, comfortable, and ready for your baby.

Everything needed for the session is carefully prepared and brought with me. Every detail is thoughtfully selected, cleaned, and styled with intention. Your baby’s safety and comfort are always my highest priority, and I follow a natural, baby-led approach throughout the session.

For clothing, I suggest simple white, cream, and neutral tones to keep the focus on your connection. However, your personal style is always welcome — the most important thing is that you feel like yourself.

To make your session even more meaningful, you are always welcome to bring personal items. A special blanket, a tiny hat, or anything that holds a memory for you… these small touches make your photos even more unique and deeply personal.

Before the session, the only thing I ask from you is to feel calm and relaxed. Simply make sure your baby is fed, clean, and comfortable — the rest is in my hands.

Please remember — when you feel peaceful, your baby feels it too. And in that calm, beautiful space, the most genuine moments naturally unfold.
